1. Who we are
MintedAssociates Corp is a Delaware corporation operating the Minted marketplace at minted.credit (the Platform), through which institutional borrowers post secured digital asset financing requests and a panel of lenders responds with indicative terms. We are the controller of the personal data described here. Contact us at info@minted.credit.
This policy does not cover the separate loan documentation executed between a borrower and a lender, where each party is its own controller.
2. What we collect
Financing requests
Collateral asset, borrower type, position value, loan amount, implied LTV, tenor, rehypothecation or pledge preference, custody arrangement, timing, the window within which you can post additional collateral, your target rate band, and your work email address.
Collateral address, optional
You may provide a public blockchain address holding the collateral. This is optional. We read the public balance at that address using third party block explorers and public RPC endpoints. We do not connect to a wallet, request a signature, take custody, or initiate any transaction. A blockchain address may be personal data where it can be linked to you, and we treat it as such.
Panel applications
Institution name, institution type, typical ticket size, and work email address.
Account and technical data
Your email address, and where you sign in with Google, the identity information Google returns to us. Our hosting provider also generates IP address, browser and device information, and request logs in the ordinary course of serving the site.
We do not collect payment card details, bank account numbers, government identifiers, or private keys through the Platform.
3. Why we process it
| Purpose | Lawful basis (UK/EU GDPR) |
|---|---|
| Operating the marketplace and distributing your request to the panel | Contract, or steps taken at your request before entering one |
| Preparing the collateral assessment that accompanies a request | Legitimate interests |
| Reading the public balance at a collateral address you supply | Consent, given by supplying the address, which is optional |
| Notifying you of responses and status | Contract |
| Security, fraud prevention, and abuse monitoring | Legitimate interests |
| Meeting legal obligations | Legal obligation |
4. Who sees what
This is the part most likely to matter to you, so we state it precisely.
- A financing request is visible to every active desk on the panel. Desks see the collateral asset, position value, loan amount, implied LTV, tenor, structure, custody, and the collateral assessment.
- Your identity is withheld until you agree to an introduction with a specific desk.
- Your target rate band is never disclosed to any lender at any time.
- Responding desks are identified to you by institution type until an introduction is agreed.
These boundaries are enforced in the queries that build each side's view, not only in the interface.
5. Service providers
| Provider | Function | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel Inc. | Hosting, edge delivery, request logs | United States |
| Supabase Inc. | Database and authentication | United States |
| Resend | Transactional email | United States |
| Google LLC | Sign in with Google, where you choose it | United States |
We also query third party market and blockchain data sources when preparing a collateral assessment. Where you supply a collateral address, that address is transmitted to a public block explorer or RPC endpoint in order to read its balance. These are public networks: a blockchain address you give us is queried against a public ledger, and that lookup is not private.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it for advertising or cross context behavioural advertising.
6. International transfers
We are based in the United States and our providers process data there. Where we receive personal data from the UK or EEA, transfers are made under the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. A copy of the relevant mechanism is available on request.
7. How long we keep it
We retain financing requests and responses for the life of the request and for as long afterwards as is needed to evidence what was quoted and agreed, and to meet applicable financial recordkeeping requirements. Panel applications and account records are retained for the duration of the relationship and a reasonable period afterwards. Technical logs are retained by our hosting provider in the ordinary course.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you are, you may have the right to access your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to processing, receive it in a portable form, and withdraw consent (including consent to a collateral address lookup) without affecting prior processing.
If you are in California you may have rights under the CCPA and CPRA, including to know, delete, correct, and opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal data as those terms are defined.
To exercise a right, contact info@minted.credit. You may also complain to your supervisory authority; in the UK that is the Information Commissioner's Office.
9. Cookies and electronic communications
We use only what is necessary to operate the Platform: an authentication session so you stay signed in, a session token in local storage, and our hosting provider's abuse prevention. We run no advertising, cross site tracking, or third party analytics.
Some pages load resources from third parties in the ordinary course of rendering. Where we embed video we use the no cookie variant and load the player only when you press play, so nothing is set unless you choose to watch.
By using the Platform you consent to receive communications from us electronically, and agree that electronic communications satisfy any legal requirement that a communication be in writing. This does not extend to loan documentation, which is executed separately between borrower and lender.
10. Security
We hold personal data in a database with row level security, restrict access to authorised personnel, and serve the Platform over TLS. No system is perfectly secure and we do not represent that ours is.
11. Children
The Platform is for institutions and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
12. Changes and contact
We will post any change here and update the date above. Where a change is material we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
